Warren is indeed a fan of buy and hold but he has made some changes to his portfolio in the recent past by selling, in some cases, all of his shares in some stocks. The following are his top 10 stocks:
Apple (AAPL): 44.7%
Bank of America (BAC): 11.5%
Coca-Cola (KO): 8.8%
American Express (AXP): 7.3%
Kraft Heinz (KHC): 4.4%
Moody’s (MCO): 2.8%
U.S. Bancorp (USB): 2.4%
DaVita (DVA): 1.7%
General Motors (GM): 1.5%
Charter Communications (CHTR): 1.4%.4%
Warren Buffett is scooping up the following stocks:
AbbVie (ABBV)
Merck & Co. (MRK)
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (BMY)
Snowflake (SNOW)
T-Mobile US (TMUS)
Pfizer (PFE)
Bank of America Corp. (BAC)
Warren Buffet is a buy and hold investor but he has been selling these shares in 2020:
Davita (DVA) -3%
Wells Fargo & Co (WFC) -46%
PNC Financial Services Group Inc (PNC) -64%
JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) - 95%
COSTCO (COST) - 100%
Some of these companies like JPM still have good fundamentals. Warren Buffet praised the CEO, Jamie Dimon, on CNBC and even offered to hire him in his letter to shareholders. Personally, Im still holding on to my JPM shares which ranks highly on my average 5-year ROE scanner. I love the investment style of Warren Buffet but he is not without his shortcomings which he personally acknowledges. So I do not copy paste his portfolio but rather personalise the way he picks stocks and have my own stocks which are true to the fundamenatals he uses to choose his own.
