How To Use The Calculator

  1. Enter the Principal (£)

    • This is the amount of money you are starting with or investing.

  2. Enter the Annual Interest Rate (%)

    • For example, if your investment earns 5% interest per year, type 5.

  3. Enter the Number of Years

    • This is how long you plan to leave the money invested.

  4. Choose the Compounding Frequency

    • Select how often the interest is added to your balance:

      • Annually: Once a year

      • Semi-Annually: Twice a year

      • Quarterly: Four times a year

      • Monthly: Twelve times a year (most common)

  5. Click "Calculate"

    • The calculator will show you the Future Value of your investment, including interest earned.

How to Use the Net Worth Calculator

  1. Enter your Assets

    • Include cash, investments, property, and any other valuable items.

  2. Enter your Liabilities

    • Add debts such as mortgages, credit cards, loans, and other obligations.

  3. (Optional) Enter your previous net worth

    • This helps track how your net worth has changed over time.

  4. Click “Calculate Net Worth”

    • Your total net worth will appear, along with any increase or decrease since your last entry.

How to Use This Calculator:

  1. Enter your current savings and monthly contributions.

  2. Input your expected annual return (e.g., 7%).

  3. Enter your desired annual expenses in retirement.

  4. Click “Calculate” to find out how many years it will take to reach financial independence.
